"Self-Help" is a Halloween holiday treat with narrative tricks that will keep movie goers guessing. "Self-Help" is worth watching if only for the bonkers opening sequence showing a young Olivia at her Halloween/birthday party at an arcade.

A pleasant surprise of a movie. It has subplots galore, with varying degrees of effectiveness. All in all, a fun one time watch I'm glad I caught in a theater.

What did I just watch? I went in blind even though I could tell it was a low budget film based on the poster. Everything about it questionable, confusing & mediocre. I was falling asleep towards the end. I’m just upset I didn’t sleep through all of it.
