Virginia Wright Illustrated Daily News (Los Angeles) The picture introduces an uncommonly appealing child actress named Connie Marshall, whose performance you may appreciate if you can separate it from the moist sentimentality of the theme. Jul 13, 2021 Full Review Jack Moffitt Esquire Magazine The tear jerker Walter Morosco has produced for Fox is a bath of bathos. It stars Maureen O'Hara -- though it is unfair to blame her for what happened, since she neither wrote, directed nor acted in the picture. Audience Member A sadistic affair. Bad enough they put a child through this. Then they subjected an audience to it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member One of best performances. Maureen said that the role of Julie Beck was one of the few roles she was very proud of. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member good weepie melodrama Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Sugary goo with a rather stupid lead female character, a selfish unsympathetic male one and an annoying child actress. Mawkish and melodramatic. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Sentimental Journey is sweet and touching movie about love, death , adoption and loyalty. I enjoyed this and recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
