A romantic comedy that's neither funny nor particularly romantic, Serving Sara is a forgettable time waster.

Jami Bernard New York Daily News [There's] nary a laugh to be found. Rated: 1/4 Jul 26, 2014 Full Review Scott Tobias AV Club A third-rate conflation of Midnight Run and It Happened One Night, Serving Sara relies heavily on Perry's perpetually exasperated shtick, which fits more comfortably among the democratic ensemble of TV's Friends. Jun 11, 2013 Full Review Hank Sartin Chicago Reader Romantic comedy ought to have some romance and laughs, but this extraordinarily flat effort has neither. Jan 3, 2007 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens The most intrigue and interest Serving Sara can or will generate revolves around Perry's real life rehab stint, leaving one to wonder which scenes were shot before and after... Nov 16, 2019 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Predictable comedy has profanity, iffy humor, and violence. Rated: 2/5 Jun 14, 2016 Full Review Leah Rozen People Magazine Perry smirks and mugs throughout while Hurley just seems massively bored, practically yawning even while hoisting her shirt for the hotel clerk. thiago s Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/25 Full Review Microsoft M this is the most charming movie I saw. Very funny, adorable actors. Hennadi from Ukraine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/25 Full Review Ed R A very cheesy Matthew Perry type movie turned Rom-Com? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/25 Full Review Jerod S No chemistry with Perry and Hurley - and no laughs either. He serves her divorce papers and they run around the country while Cedric the Entertainer talks on the phone. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Melissa M This movie has crude & sophomoric humor. Some parts are LOL. This film has a lot of Spit takes. Spit takes in movies is so cliche. And so overdone. It's at the point where it's no longer funny. It is nice to see Matthew Perry however in a comedic dramatic role. It's a far cry from his character Chandler Bing on Friends. His performance as Joe is one of the best parts of the flick. Serving Sara is worth a four-star rating because it also has the King of Camp Bruce Campbell. You know any movie with him is going to be comedy gold. Jerry Stiller a comedic legend also has an appearance in the film. Elizabeth Hurley is surprisingly funny as Sara Moore. Vincent Pastore character Tony is a real Mafiaso type. Tony is one of the funniest characters in the movie. Serving Sara is it four star comedy drama that's worth watching more than once. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review Wayne H Ita not good but it's not bad. It's not a movie I'd personally seek out and watch but if it's on tv already I'd turn it on. The jokes are OK. I think if it weren't Mathew perry they would fall flat. It has a really good cast of people which had the potential to be really good but all the stars in the world doesn't equate to a good movie. Elizabeth hurley is super fine as always! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
