Wayne H Ita not good but it's not bad. It's not a movie I'd personally seek out and watch but if it's on tv already I'd turn it on. The jokes are OK. I think if it weren't Mathew perry they would fall flat. It has a really good cast of people which had the potential to be really good but all the stars in the world doesn't equate to a good movie. Elizabeth hurley is super fine as always! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Test T I watched this on DVD recently. The critics gave it 4% so it must be terrible right? Well.. no actually! I thought it was really quite good. Matt Perry is quick witted and can be very amusing at times, whilst Liz Hurley has a very sexy posh accent, a great body and some pretty outfits to show it off in. Add to that some interesting locations and a nice easy to follow story, and it all makes for a very pleasant movie experience. It's just a fun old school action romantic comedy which I found very refreshing and enjoyable. I'd recommend it highly, especially if you like Liz! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Trevor G After Matthew Perry unexpectedly went to the great beyond, fairly recently, being a fan of Friends, I wanted to see what else was in his filmography. I stumbled across Serving Sarah a few months back and tonight finally watched it. I'll share first the relatability to frequently mentioned critiques of Liz Hurley seeming bored - sure. And there literally being 0 chemistry between Hurley and Perry - this is pretty in your face, how unlikely their romance would be. That being said, I really enjoyed this movie. It was light, funny, and a good way to remember Chandler's characteristic wit, and wise cracking persona, just toned down and with some aggression added in. If you liked Friends, and want to simply see Matthew Perry on screen again, definitely worth the watch. Despite being panned by critiques - who seem to not understand that a film doesn't always need to be deep to be enjoyable - this was fun to watch. I laughed a few times, yes, the slapstick humor can get middle schoolish at moments, but the sentiment behind the film's writing felt good. Cedric the Entertainer was pretty funny at moments, and Hurley stole every frame with her classic model grace and beauty. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/24 Full Review SpookySkeleton M Actually a pretty good movie, it will make you laugh the whole time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Christopher N It's not winning an academy award but there are some funny parts for sure. Maybe it's funnier now then it was in 2002 because of all the ancillary characters that are recognizable. In short, I found it funny enough to watch it thru. Give it a shot.
