Audience Member Osment is in a very different stage of his career obviously and even makes a good underdog in this raunchy dramady that often works when it's not being so heavy-handed with it's characters' hollow progression. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member 100% cliches, worst physical comedy ever. feels like the purpose of this "movie" was to shit on masculinity. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review dan m I think like most people watching this, seeing Haley Joel "I See Dead People" Osment all grown up is bizarre, especially in a role as a middle school sex ed teacher. I also found out dude is 5'4, damn.. same size as Kevin Hart, who knew? As for the movie, it's sorta like a timid version of School of Rock but instead sub Sex-Ed for the Rock part obviously. Average, nothing really stands out here(except Lorenza Izzo who's mighty fine). Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Alright. Some funny moments and the film is ok just nothing memorable Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Sweet, and some good laughs Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie, it was very satisfying. If you're a virgin, specifically a male virgin, it will make you enjoy the movie even more. The movie was so well-writting and well-acting, honestly it couldn't get any better than this. Patrick Goldstein Los Angeles Times "Sex Ed" is a likable little comedy that features such a well-conceived and portrayed main character it makes up for the film's slender concept and leaps in logic. Nov 7, 2014 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Filthy conversations abound, mostly with a handful of trash-talking students and a series of female characters apparently conjured from a frat-boy wish list. Nov 6, 2014 Full Review Jordan Hoffman New York Daily News The shock of seeing kids talking dirty dries up quick, but the message is one of positivity and communication. Rated: 3/5 Nov 6, 2014 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Unrelenting crass and vulgar humor, language in awful comedy Rated: 1/5 Jun 23, 2015 Full Review John Noonan FILMINK (Australia) Overall, it's a sex positive film that suggests that whether you're swinging from the chandeliers or staying at home in your PJs, what really matters is what you think about yourself. Mar 6, 2015 Full Review Andy Crump Paste Magazine Surprise of all surprises, it's a real charmer, a scrappy little comedy about sex positivism in an era when Americans still feel super duper uncomfortable frankly talking about anything and everything erotic.
