Brittany Vincent IGN Movies Shirobako: The Movie is a charming addition to the slice-of-life drama series, and it's undeniably fun to catch up with a wide array of characters who popped up throughout the course of the anime. Rated: 7/10 Aug 11, 2021 Full Review Charles Solomon FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It is very silly -- some of it is an inside joke -- but the more you know about animation and anime, the more the jokes you'll get... Wonderfully silly with a lot of laughs. Aug 10, 2021 Full Review Matt Schley Japan Times Offers up a depiction of the anime industry that's humorous but down-to-the-details accurate. Audience Member I like the rise fall and rise of the studio. Could've done w out the musical number. Getting the gang back together was fun. Still celebrates work til you drop culture though. Liked seeing the change in ending. Watching the creative process is still fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
