Nyles G For anyone interested in how to portray the spirit of Clavell's work, this is the series to watch, not the boring SLOG of 2024, which had zero chemistry between any of the characters. Very disappointing to watch with all our new technology how we are coughing up dark, dreary and boring - Whiskey Tango Over? The current version leaves you never wanting to watch it more than once. I would want to watch the original every year for the rest of my life. It's that good. Richard Chamberlain’s “Pilot” is still the best version of Pilot! For me this is a must watch and a classic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review josh d Fantastic historical epic. The new version is perhaps slightly better, but this is still an excellent adaptation too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review K K True classic, well worth taking the time to watch.
