Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Peck offers his usual conviction to the project, but the supporting cast is an awfully weak one. Rated: 2/4 Mar 27, 2021 Full Review Quentin Tarantino The New Beverly Nothing special, but by the time it was over, I enjoyed it and was glad I saw it. Jun 22, 2020 Full Review John Mahoney Los Angeles Free Press It is a contemptuous piece of film making from people who once set standards and now seem to be working off commitments in packages-that would embarrass the most brazen agent. Jan 9, 2020 Full Review Tony Mastroianni Cleveland Press Peck is adequate in a role that doesn't demand much more than adequacy. Apr 4, 2019 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A miscast Gregory Peck is too nice of a guy to be in a revenge western that demands anything but a tender-hearted portrayal. Steve D Nothing new but it works. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review delysid d this movie is the ultimate NRA fantasy. too bad Gregory Peck wasn't armed with an AR-15 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/17/21 Full Review bonnie s I loved it. It was funny. There was sarcasm, good shooting scenes, and a bond between an older reformed convict and a little girl. I have no clue why there are substandard reviews. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Made by the people who gave us John Wayne's Rooster Coburn in True Grit, it harbours a few echos with that film, although the girl foisted on Gregory Peck's tough criminal-turned-good-guy is much younger. Dawn Lyn is terrific as the streetwise infant. Robert F. Lyons is equally supeb as the cowardly when cornered bad guy. Predictable towards the end, but highly enjoyable adventure. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Love seeing punks get what they deserve. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I think Shoot Out is the type of Western you'll like even if you're not a fan of Westerns. You got Clay Lomax getting out of prison & looking for revenge on the ex partner who shot him in the back after a robbery but gets a kid dumped on him.He drags her along while being tailed by 3 punks hired by Clay Lomax's ex partner who's now a rich rancher.I won't give anymore away but if you enjoy Westerns as much as I do then it's a movie you'll want to check out Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
