There was some suspense and some excitement. The creature wasn't the scariest looking but the noises coming from it were great for Halloween. It was an ok movie.

We got there late, so we missed some of it, but for the parts that we saw, the acting was terrible, no one seemed scared. The creature reminded me of Predator mixed with the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt. This would be appropriate for a child (ex. 6 year old). Not scary at all. Only minor cursing.
