Audience Member Without a basic knowledge of Jewish law and practice, this will be a very challenging film to follow. There are simply too many details of which to keep track of. Performances are straightforward, but for those unfamiliar with nuances of customs related to death and burial, requirements for conversion to Judaism, and other issues presented in this lengthy tale, many will lose their way..
