08/14/2015 What is this crap... See more 07/12/2014 The Shrunken City starts off really well. 2 kids find a weird artifact, the artifact transports them to a new world. The use of locations and some convincing set decoration and prop work keeps this film set on the right path... that is until things get really silly and childlike as the kids are transported home. It doesn't take long before the kids find themselves running away from the most feared aliens anywhere... who are nothing more than bumbling idiots in space suits. Either play it as a comedy or play it serious, The Shrunken City doesn't seem to know which side of the fence it wants to be on. As such, this film is 50% on the right path to success and 1/2 way to the garbage dump. Not a bad film for a low budget kids flick but it could have been a lot better had they made a few different decisions. See more 02/09/2011 Slightly less cheesy then the power rangers, slightly.
