Kangana [Ranaut] keeps us watching. With her plain unvarnished face, and mobile features, she comes across as a real, solid, complex woman, someone you can reach out and touch.

What's interesting is that her Praful is never built as a role model. The filmmaker remains non-judgmental about her; the audience doesn't know what to make of her. I found that strangely liberating.

Frankly, you can't emotionally invest in Simran or root for her as much as you want to. But when you watch the film, you will find yourself warming up to her occasionally, because she's all you've got. Let's give Kangana her due.

4 stars just for Kangana. The movie is definitely not boring. It's crisp and racy though not spectacular or awesome. However, watching Kangana takes on the movie entirely on her own is a treat in itself. She needs to be appreciated.

Pathetic Movie. if you leave the psychotic image that Kangana has created for herself and see it without that impression its a lifeless movie. also, the script and story has made every other character too weak to let her shine. to top it all, it bores you to death.

Watchable but only after you leave your brain behind at home. Kangana's performance is good. ...but we have seen this same charm in Queen...Queen which backed Kangana's solid performance with a solid storyline...something that Simran lacks. Watch but don't expect to be blown away by this movie.
