Chad Collins Dread Central While Sinphony, a horror film conceived on Clubhouse, makes for a curious origin story, it doesn’t amount to much as a movie itself. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 26, 2022 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee There's more atmosphere than scares even in the best segments, but there are enough creepy moments and effective jolts to keep the audience on the hook. Rated: B- Oct 26, 2022 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Sinphony is brisk, clever, and sticks the landing on most of its component pieces. Rated: B Oct 22, 2022 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT Strong storytelling and filmmaking are highlights. Has the expected scares and the painfully ironic endings. The wraparound evolves over the course of the movie leading to a satisfying ending. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review James Perkins Starburst Does two things right: it has laid the foundation for the upcoming sequel, and it has allowed some new voices in the indie horror scene to showcase their passion and ability, but, overall it misses the mark... Rated: 3/5 Oct 17, 2022 Full Review Alan French Sunshine State Cineplex It’s always exciting to see where the next great filmmakers will come from, and Sinphony certainly showcases incredible filmmaking talent. Hugo S An anthology of nine short tales from different international directors. Despite the uneven quality of the different stories, the audience will be pleased with the presented diversity of horror subgenres. Overall, "Sinphony: A Clubhouse Horror Anthology" is a showcase of talented filmmaking. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review brad p While Sinphony, a horror film conceived on Clubhouse, makes for a curious origin story, it doesn't amount to much as a movie itself. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Nicolas A very cheap copy of V.H.S. I was surprised how good of a rating this movie's got. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/31/22 Full Review Michael P No matter your horror subgenre preference, there is certainly something for everyone in this worthy collection of grassroots indie films from across the globe. The long list of filmmakers originally connected via the audio-only Clubhouse app during the height of Covid lockdown protocals. Whether its slasher, moody thriller, or oddball comedy, you will likely find something in this ragtag mix to scratch your indie-horror itch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/24/22 Full Review nichole c To be fair, I'm the writer/director/producer of the Maternally Damned segment, but I absolutely love all of the segments in this anthology. Each film is unique and brings something special to the compilation. I'm so proud to be a part of this project. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
