An energetic and entertaining exercise that could spawn its own spin-offs. Go to Full Review

A movie about implanted memories, a stripper with a tail, and winged creatures, but it doesn't have the personality to make any of that interesting. Go to Full Review

For the most part this is a clever and confident expansion of a terrific short. It stings less but packs plenty of poison. Go to Full Review

It is a wonderfully symmetrical story that keeps track of all its threads and ties them together. The filmmakers are confident in what they want to convey, but never lapse into self-indulgence. Go to Full Review

This is fundamentally the main issue with SiREN as a whole. It's frequently, often laugh-out-loud funny but it's not nearly scary enough to qualify it as a decent horror-comedy. Go to Full Review

Creativity to the supernatural elements and good performances ensure that Siren's shortcomings are easily overlooked. Go to Full Review

Melissa L @Agent99 Nov 9 Too creepy and bad trippy. See more Riley N. @KMFDMSUCKS Jul 19 It was terrible just a horrible rehash of the V/H/S segment amateur night. No coherent story and terrible effects. Never again. Would rate 0 starts if I could See more Chardaye C Mar 1 So, here's the thing: the reason why I liked the V/H/S short in which this film is inspired was because we were put in our ordinary world, with one supernatural f'd up thing thrown into it. We did not know what Lily was, what she wanted (at first) or where she came from. She was this monster who infiltrated the world we knew, and we didn't know anything, and that was frightening. This movie threw that whole concept out; we were put into a world where supernatural f'd up things happen in the first five minutes, and we're given clear info on what slows her down, and what her kind are about. Immediately ruins the horror. Not only that, but the monster is not on screen even remotely long enough; I watched this movie to see her, and I barely got her at all. We're focused on everyone else but her. They also threw in these, admittedly very cool, other supernatural stuff in there, but they should've saved it for a different movie, and let us focus on Lily. They threw in some slow-mo bits which I thought were odd, because we're not in a drama, we're in a horror (supposedly). All in all, many of the elements were intriguing and worth exploring, but they took away from the main girl too much, and the movie over all is a disappointing watch. See more prawnda s Dec 24 a huge waste of time. terrible production values, adds almost nothing of value to the original short. i think that every useable scene in this movie could fit into a 5 or 10 minute edit. See more Nina E 10/12/2023 I wish they gave the titular character more screen time. The Siren herself is awesome but the movie focuses more on the four Hangover wannabes running away from some gothic cowboy guy. The movie has plenty of action; it's more an action movie than horror. It is entertaining and fast paced but if you came for the Succubus then you might be disappointed. See more Alexis B @AlexisChainsawMassacre 02/06/2023 Not the best movie by any means, but I'm always here for a good creature. It was entertaining and the siren was pretty badass.
