Kenneth R. Morefield Christianity Today It's fascinating to contrast these films with the darker (literally and thematically) post-war offerings of the Italian neorealists that were produced only a few years earlier. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 23, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

S R Another lost FLIXSTER review!!! Grrr. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Catherine A My comfort movie and a guilty pleasure, a beautiful fairytale that never fails to bring a smile on my face Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie that started it all - star quality from Schneider. Simplicity of plot lends to its charm Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Very well done I just wish they had another episode including her death as she was murdered by Luigi Luchenian in 1898 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member like an Austrian version of an old Disney film. Reminds you of Cinderella brought to real life. Sissi makes for a very likable main character, as does her whole family. The humor is a bit predictable, but cute. The costumes are simply beautiful, as is Sissi. A good movie for the whole family. The second movie is my fav prob, the third and first were good too. Not completely historically accurate, but made for good entertainment at least. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I guess I really liked it more just to look at the scenery and dresses and castle. It was very pretty.
