Writer-director Amy Miller Gross never plays it for laughs, opting instead to explore darker feelings. And while she also indulges in some badly contrived twists and turns in the plot, the film has some nice things to say.

Terrible. Dont watch. Very embarrassing for Alicia as I had high hope. You think that she’s the bad guy for the entire movie because of her wildly immature actions. Then the movie just, ends? She gets a happy ending and nothing gets resolved? She cheats on her husband, drugs her brothers wife, and stomps her feet like a child the entire film.

Weep at the failure of Alicia Silverstone to launch into forty. In this badly developed script, she fails to find her character. Instead she grimaces and shrieks to convey her grand angst. She acts like a bunch of green grapes. In the end, you wonder if you're not the one on mind altering substances.
