Candler IV I loved this movie. If you want to be spoon fed your entire movie experience, then this film may not be for you. I loved how it left more to the imagination. It truly brought me back to my childhood and that feeling of something lurking in the dark in your own home. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Jess If you’re scared or were ever scared of the dark, this movie messes you up Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Hisu terrifically terrifying Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Roy literally the most terrifying movie I have ever seen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review C Its fantastic but only for fans of experimental stuff. A lot of people will hate it but thats how movies like this are. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Mr. Hollywood Didnt do it for me. I get the concept and Im happy for the first time filmmaker spending 15k only and made a huge profit, Im all for new filmmakers making it, but overall I couldnt get to liking it as others have. Saw it at the theater specifically so I can contribute and support this film, and I encourage everyone to go see independent movies at the theaters please, but I also have to be honest. I get the horror aspect and what the filmmaker was going for but it was boring and way to home video feel for me. PS I didnt mind Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project but this was too easy for lack of a better word. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Lex Briscuso Inverse Skinamarink is a downright evil film that isn’t afraid to stalk the emotional core of your nostalgia until it morphs into something unrecognizably petrifying. Feb 14, 2023 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian By the end I was more bored than frightened. Rated: 3/5 Feb 1, 2023 Full Review Richard Newby Empire Magazine It’s an unsettling Rorschach test with a haunting ending that will settle in the pit of your stomach like a stone. But it can be a polarizing experience that pushes the limits of patience. Rated: 3/5 Jan 28, 2023 Full Review Enrique Abenia Cinemanía (Spain) Director Kyle Edward Ball, inspired by a more than striking debut, offers a work that immerses you in the singular, the disturbing, and the terrifying. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 30, 2023 Full Review Jackson Weaver CBC News Even though [Skinamarink] has cemented its place as one of my favourite releases of 2023, I almost feel I'd have better odds playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun than finding someone to recommend it to who'd actually enjoy it. Rated: 4/5 Oct 16, 2023 Full Review Lee Zumpe Tampa Bay Newspapers For those willing to lose themselves in its atmospheric horror, “Skinamarink” is a surreal mix of high strangeness, acute anxiety and reflective melancholy.
