Josh A @Ghostyahosty 14h A group of talented actors who very obviously phoned their lines in. Like they forgot how to act or the director was just that miserable to work with. Worst horror movie I’ve ever seen and I just watched the house on haunted grounds which I thought was bad but expected the bad acting. Give this one a solid pass, might be something to watch in a few months when it’s free on tv. Centered on a woman tormented by her abusive husband after he falls into a coma, the story blends trauma and the supernatural in a way that sounds compelling on paper. Hayden Panettiere delivers a committed performance, grounding the film with emotional weight and vulnerability. Unfortunately, the screenplay struggles to support her. The writing feels uneven, with ideas introduced but never fully developed, causing the tension to fade rather than build. Direction is inconsistent, leaving the film unsure whether it wants to lean into psychological horror or supernatural scares. While there are a few effective moments, the horror elements never become truly frightening or memorable. Sleepwalker isn’t terrible, but it’s underwhelming. The nightmare illusions got repetitive and there wasn’t enough twists and turns to keep the audience guessing like a psychological thriller should. The little scares they tried to pull off didn’t really land either. I will say though Hayden’s acting was actually good and it was nice to see her back on her feet.
