Slender Man essentially feels like a movie created from a how-to guide to horror. Step one: apply drab color palette with hazy blues, greens, and neutrals. Step 2: make sure all set pieces look like generic, creepy locations.

It's sad really, as someone who grew up obsessed with the Creppy pasta stories had I really high hopes for this movie. It was too slow and just not that good.

For a movie about Slenderman called Slenderman, Slenderman is nearly non existent lol, 3 minutes of screen time? Not even Godzilla films give their main character that little of screentime

Not the garbage dump I thought it would be. While void of any established plot points, it was immersive enough to keep me entertained for 90 minutes and the acting was good.
