Slender Man essentially feels like a movie created from a how-to guide to horror. Step one: apply drab color palette with hazy blues, greens, and neutrals. Step 2: make sure all set pieces look like generic, creepy locations.

This movie is poorly made, it's like the director decided to copy and paste between "the ring" and "truth or dare" and slapped slenderman on there and call it a day. It's like they never took the opportunity to read the creepypasta or play the video games of this character. I would rank it higher if they just remade it, do a deeper research on the lore and the character itself than just copy and paste the same ideas from other movie. If you like it fine, but this is how I felt over 9 years now and as a creepypasta and horror story fan .

This movie made many memories for me!! Watched it when it first came out and it was the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. Me and my brothers were crying laughing in the theater that we almost had to walk out for a few moments because we were afraid we were disturbing people next to us😁👍🏽

I really wish I could like this movie, but I can’t This was such a disappointment to me Cinematography is way too dark Characters are dumb And the plot barely has any plot I really wish that this would be a lot better I really hope more slender man movies come out though only if they’re made by creative writers
