James I I've seen a few bad movies in my life, but this one tops the list. The script, story and direction are so trite that the poor actors had no chance to make it anything other than melodramatic, scene-chewing drivel. The writer throws out cliche after cliche and even apologizes a couple of times for the cliche's... I barely made it through to the end. After all, gay porn has no shortage of "stories" about guys shagging their sister's husband, so it was interesting to see a real story based around it fleshed out (pardon the pun—and btw, thankfully there actually isn't much skin in this tastefully-done film; the plot didn't need that). But the actual big reveal/surprise fell flat for me, and the overall reactions of the characters seem dated even for 9 years ago when this film was made. I also felt the character development could have been deeper in several cases. It buys into the tried and true cliche that every gay is selfish and infected with hiv. Btw, the premise is a brother bortoms with his sister's boyfriend who infects the, both with hiv. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an insomniac Hail Mary 'may as well' choice for me at 3am, wasn't expecting much if anything:- in fact I was expecting to turn it off after 20 minutes and nearly did. But I didn't and hell that was a good shout. It gets better and better from a shakey start and left me gripped by the end. Cheap and basic in feel but great plot with real stark emotional tones that bring their sober reality right into you. It's on Netflix and is a must-see in my opinion.
