Jamie Dunn Sight & Sound This madcap dystopian satire imagines the world's population has been reduced to a single building of well-off inhabitants, which is surrounded by a grimy collection of unemployed people barely surviving on the fringes. Jan 13, 2020 Full Review Jonathan Edwards Starburst It's certainly not for everyone, and some themes can be a little hard to grasp due to their deep-rooted nature in Spanish society, but if you're into the idea of a theatrical display of satire then this will be a welcome change from the usual. Apr 4, 2019 Full Review Luis Martínez El Mundo (Spain) A melancholy film, funny, slightly uncomfortable and so lucid that even makes you laugh. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Dec 29, 2018 Full Review Jordi Costa El Pais (Spain) Under the film's humor, the filmmaker's disenchantment with a world in free fall is palpable. [Full Review in Spanish] Dec 28, 2018 Full Review Daniel de Partearroyo Cinemanía (Spain) Irregular and frayed... even when Some Time After hobbles it offers more ideas than other uplifting national comedies at the box office of late. Gonzalo L Es extravagante, anormal y divertida, descanse en paz Jose Luis Cuerda. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/04/21 Full Review Audience Member A surreal delight that becomes a sharp satire about spanish society... some pacing problems prevent it from becoming an absolute masterpiece. ¿A todas? ¡No! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member It is a movie which is difficult to valorate because it has a symbolic language, it is related with the previous "Amanece que no es poco", and has a very surrealistic language. So, do not expect a continuous laugh movie, but thinking and irony. Anyway, it is a kind of movie which is required in this times. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
