Steve D The script is a mess. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Abigail M one of the worst movies ive ever watched. i was seriously cringing the whole time, i could barely get through it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/01/23 Full Review nilufer e It's definitely over-rated. I found it superficial and mediocre. The cast was meh and the story wasn't quite original. Just another not so funny rom-com. I shed a few tears but not because of the greatness of the movie but because of the timing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review Juan R Not funny at all, superficial and boring! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/23 Full Review Giothegr8 One of the worst movies i've ever seen. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/01/23 Full Review Dustin D It takes a special movie to make St. Elmo's Fire look like a classic. Someone Great follows three insufferable intersectional millennials as they squander their 20s pursuing hedonistic pleasures and dead-end relationships. I imagine a movie that checked in on them 10 years later would be very depressing indeed. This could be seen as a cautionary tale if the movie didn't seem to agree with these horrendous characters' worldview. The values depicted in this movie are the inverse of what would be adaptive for society or leading a good life. Almost every joke fell flat and nearly every line of dialog made me cringe, and I felt embarrassed for the actors. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Roxana Hadadi Pajiba Netflix's romantic comedy Someone Great is extremely of this time, a sugar rush that adds a millennial gloss to genre tropes. May 1, 2019 Full Review Kristen Lopez Remezcla Someone Great certainly lives up to its title. Apr 24, 2019 Full Review Monica Castillo RogerEbert.com A fluffy romp with a sobering truth: relationships and your twenties may end, but neither signals the end of the world. Apr 22, 2019 Full Review Cristina Escobar LatinaMedia.Co Fulfills and advances the promise of earlier, feminist shows, giving us a new set of women that better reflect what the world and New York actually look like. Jun 26, 2021 Full Review Cate Young Thirty, Flirty + Film What works about Someone Great is that it manages to separate those two meaningful kinds of relationships and highlights them without pitting them against each other. Mar 19, 2021 Full Review Aly Caviness Midwest Film Journal A stealth anti-romcom, Someone Great is Netflix's latest contribution to the genre's women-led resurgence.
