Allen H I enjoy a good terrible movie. Three things prevented me from enjoying this. 1) The 80s. It's full of 80's cliche, style, and ripoffs. Instead of 'station' the lead says 'happening' over 30 times. Instead of mini-me it has Big. etc. 2) The pacing. The best campy delivery is to play it straight, not to milk every line making them twice as long. Boring. 3) The music. Billed as a metal musical but every time the hero sings, it's a slow change-up song with repetitive lyrics, usually without back up except for an occasional added guitar riff that seems stolen from elsewhere. Imagine bad metal lyrics spoken at Shakespeare in the park. The only laugh was when the babe crashed the motorcycle and picking it up said, "I hope Alice didn't see that." Do yourself a favor and watch any 80s classic one more time instead of this. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
