Audience Member Just happened to see this last night on TV- awesome movie- fantastic acting by everyone. The name is a bit bland but all the actors are incredible- from Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani to Shabana. Chitrangada Singh looks beautiful. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny, cute, surprising yet interesting love story!... it shows we can fall in love with anyone.... ;) <3 <3 I loved it! loved sharman joshi's performance.. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Melodramatic, but watchable. Love the Mauritius setting and like the sound tracks, but can't say that I agree with the principle of "falling-in-love," thus, nicking your brother's fiancee of 5 years after only 5 days of knowing her (or the vice versa, for that matter) -even when sanctioned by the parents (or in-laws). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Director ONIR is back after delivering two Excellent films ''MY BROTHER NIKHIL'' & ''BAS EK PAL''. ''Sorry Bhai'' is a light-hearted drama incorporating a theme which is not suitable for Indian Audience i.e. LIVE-IN RELATIONSHIP. There were films like ''Salaam Namaste'' which too celebrated the spirits of Live in couple (Saif & Preity) in a very usual hindi movie flavour. But here, It's totally different. A Mother (SHABANA AZMI) encourages her younger son (SHARMAN JOSHI) and his girlfriend CHITRANGADA SINGH (who is ex-fiancee of her elder son SANJAY SURI) to have live-in. Such type of experimental films can be viewed by mature audience only. ''Sorry bhai'' may have simplistic plot but Director ONIR has created wonderful characters which shines out from the little flawed script, the movie get little talkie with looks silly too. However, the real charm lies on the moments which Onir creates especially between Shabana & Chitrangada. The biggest show-stealer is SHABANA AZMI, She infuses flesh-n-blood and makes it memorable as suspicious yet broad-minded mother. She is omnipresent throughout as well as makes her presence feel even when she isn't physically present, Her scenes with Chitrangada is a treat to watch! BOMAN IRANI adds perfect comic timing and delivers a brilliant performance as cheery father. SHARMAN JOSHI is pleasant surprise, he plays his part with true sincerity and best thing is you actually emphatize with him. SANJAY SURI, despite his weak characterization, makes an undeniable impression as Sharman's elder brother whereas CHITRANGADA SINGH looks gorgeous and adds freshness in her role beautifully. Overall, SORRY BHAI is a strong character-driven film. It's not even meant for hard-core masala entertainment fans instead this movie can be viewed by those who can absorb such daringly different theme & It's the best piece from ONIR. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I never expected I would watch this movie but god wanted me to watch this and so I did ... The movie is nice ... It starts on a very good note but ends up being a blunder ... The actors and the story is splendid but there were just little' bit changes then I wouldve give this movie a 3.5 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member "unexpected" great movie and rare concept.
