It is unsurprising that Larry David made this around the same time as the "Seinfeld" series finale, as both suffer from the same kind of deeply miscalculated dark comedy. It isn't honest or insightful, it's just smug and way too angry. At least David got this out of his system so he could go on to make "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
