Highlights - Genius Screenplay: The time-jump premise allows for a fantastic mystery and sharp satire, with laugh-out-loud gags and a dark exploration of Stan's trauma. - Fantastic Characters: Adult versions of the cast are a hilarious payoff, with evolved dynamics and brilliant character developments. - Masterful Direction: Direction perfectly parodies Blade Runner, creating a believable dystopia with relentless pacing. Criticisms - Incomplete Narrative: The story is a setup for the next special, ending on a cliffhanger. - Underused Characters: Some returning classmates have brief, one-note cameos. Verdict South Park: Post COVID is a brilliant, ambitious special proving Parker and Stone's edge remains sharp. A hilarious, creative, and dark exploration of trauma and nostalgia, must-see for fans.
