Audience Member Godawful cheapskate sci-fi movie set on a prison planet that actually resembles a desert. Which is presumably why the "futuristic" vehicles everyone scoots around in are just dune buggies. Set to a constant dreadful rock score that consists of one song, this has poor Farnsworth slumming it as a bounty hunter on the trail of escaped madman Pare who doesn't get plugged a moment too soon. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Escapees from Botany Bay space penal colony are tracked by a retired Earth policeman. Richard Farnsworth good as usual. Blood Money tune repeated three times in the film. Space travel has made great progress but no advancements made in weapons. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget Sci-Fi/western from the '80-s. A prison break on a planet far way from planet Earth, or just outside L.A. It's a cheap story, but there is a lot of things blowing up, especially cars. When you shoot at a beach buggy it always blow up. There is world records set in continuity problems in the scenes. People change places, clothes and psysical condition in just seconds of time But it's still fun. And there is unexpectedly a lot of good music in this movie. It all sound like The Gun Club but is actually a bunch of other punkblues acts from the hpllywood region of this time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Criminal is banished to outer space penal mining colony where he leads a daring escape. Retired sharpshooter mops up the cons. Farnsworth is always good, partially propping up the underfunded venture; Pare adds little here. Contains an explosive rock soundtrack.
