See more 05/09/2009 Spielberg on Spielberg has a simple construction - it's basically a 90 minute long interview of Spielberg, shot in medium close-up, interspersed with relevant clips from his movies. Thus, it lives and dies on the quality of his narration - there's no cinematic safety net here. Fortunately, while the movie never digs really deep, the master director does offer up a few interesting insights (such as the fact that a lot of his movies are, at heart, about communication), as well as a whole bunch of interesting and amusing anecdotes. A worthwhile watch, whether one is a Spielberg fan or not. See more 03/11/2009 Very interesting interview with Steven Speilberg, but he skips some of his films and overall the film is short.
