Thus, it lives and dies on the quality of his narration - there's no cinematic safety net here. Fortunately, while the movie never digs really deep, the master director does offer up a few interesting insights (such as the fact that a lot of his movies are, at heart, about communication), as well as a whole bunch of interesting and amusing anecdotes. A worthwhile watch, whether one is a Spielberg fan or not.
