Husband-and-wife jazz musicians Jane Bunnett and Larry Cramer travel from Canada to Cuba for a five-week recording project. The duo have previously gone south to perform with the accomplished jazz musicians there, but this trip has another purpose. Bunnett and Cramer attempt to preserve the sounds of Cuban jazz's old-timers while drumming up funds to replace the shabby instruments and equipment regularly found in the country's neglected music conservatories.
