**VEREDITO** *Star Trek V: A Última Fronteira* tinha uma premissa gigantesca: **levar a Enterprise até Deus.** Mas uma grande pergunta não garante uma grande história. Depois de filmes que conseguiram equilibrar ficção científica, emoção, aventura e filosofia, este capítulo parece menor. A ideia é interessante, alguns momentos funcionam e rever a tripulação clássica continua sendo prazeroso, mas faltou profundidade justamente onde o filme pretendia ser mais profundo. É uma aventura que queria alcançar o infinito, mas acabou encontrando limites no próprio roteiro. ⭐ **NOTA: 5/10**

Life is not a dream. One man's quest to explore the theological preoccupations of God and what drives us forward, reaching for the heavens but never getting off the ground, the way The Final Frontier fails is nothing short of hilarious. Guys, I swear, it's vital to the story that Kirk gets jumped and ridden by the three boob cat lady, honest. Simultaneously obvious and obtuse, The Final Frontier has all the ingredients for an interesting small-screen Star Trek adventure, diving into religion, philosophy, alien mysteries and the enduring friendship of the Enterprise crew, but repeatedly squanders them. If there's one takeaway, it's that pain and guilt make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. Never release the Shatner Cut.
