Underrated movie This definitely isn't the best Trek, however I don't think this film deserves to be this low, sure the story is probably one of the weakest Trek has for films. Some of the redeeming scenes in this film would be the opening scene camping at Yosemite, the scenes with Kirk, Spock and McCoy are usually ones I love, and don't get me started on the scene with McCoy and his dad, that scene probably is the best acting I've seen from DeForest Kelley as McCoy he has some great emotion in the scene, Sybok had the chance to be one of the most interesting characters unfortunately he never shined through completely in my opinion.
