Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, the galaxy faces a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order. When a defector named Finn crash-lands on a desert planet, he meets Rey (Daisy Ridley), a tough scavenger whose droid contains a top-secret map. Together, the young duo joins forces with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) to make sure the Resistance receives the intelligence concerning the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), the last of the Jedi Knights.

The least egregious of the Rey/Kylo trilogy. The whole cast is great in their respective rolls. Unfortunately, their efforts were wasted on a half baked script and a truly derivative mind numbing storyline. It plays it safe and tries to be a greatest hits of the original trilogy but unfortunately captures little in the way of mystery, wonder or fun found in those films. FA has some moments of humor and excitement but they are few and far between.

This was not Star Wars. They started off the sequels completely opposed to continuing George Lucass vision for the sequels yet basically copied A New Hope scene for scene with an added bonus of exceptionally bad and over the top slapstick humor between Finn and Poe.
