Inauthentic, felt like a rom-com from the '90s, in which pretty men & women, supposedly from Alabama, exist only to help their returning friend hook up with a movie star. Oy.

This was a complete and pleasant surprise with a largely unknown yet delightful and engaging cast along with a solid screenplay and cute and funny turns along the way. I even enjoyed the sequel, which I was happy to discover they had made!

The lead actors Ciara Hanna and James Maslow and Johnnie Mack were charming in this easygoing rom com. Some of the scene transitions are a bit bumpy, but the story is like sweet tea, perfect for a relaxing, summer evening.
