Synopsis
In Belgium, an entire family has been savagely murdered, and inspectors Jean Denoote (Frédéric Bodson) and Chantal Bex (Yolande Moreau) are brought in to investigate. Their prime suspect: Hubert Verkamen (Benoît Verhaert), a charismatic and calm sort known to be a vicious drug dealer but claiming to be a straight-laced businessman. Avoiding confession, Verkamen toys with the police while speaking to the ghost of his mentor, dead crook Louis Chevalier (Philippe Noiret).
