Mark H. Harris Black Horror Movies What we get instead is Southern-fried voodoo, some well-intentioned post-Katrina social commentary, and heaps of inertia. Rated: 1.7/5 Jan 6, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Do NOT waste your time. Seriously. I don't think there's a single good thing to say about this movie, except that the actor playing the main character wasn't terrible. This movie looks like it was shot for $1000 for a film project. Plot is terrible. Acting is almost universally bad, being shot doesn't seem to put holes in shirts. And... we're treated to 5 straight minutes of two characters walking through a swamp at one point. No dialogue, just... slowly... walking... Not even 'fun bad'. Just bad. Considering the improvements in camera tech, I guess it's about on par with 'Manos: Hands of Fate', and may be the worst film I've ever managed to sit all the way though, and only then to give a fair review here.
