Tom Charity CNN.com Keanu Reeves' bad-boy cop Tom Ludlow may not play by the rules, but the film sure does. Oct 18, 2008 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle A solid contemporary crime drama. Rated: 3/5 Oct 18, 2008 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian There's plenty of empty bravura, and Reeves is fundamentally blank and uninteresting. Rated: 2/5 Apr 18, 2008 Full Review Diego Batlle Otroscines.com Beyond a certain on-the-nose contrast in performances and a sense of déjà vu from other movies like it, Kings of the Street is a dignified, noble and, ultimately, quite effective offering. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Aug 25, 2023 Full Review Emiliano Basile EscribiendoCine The story's various plot twists maintain the tension until the end. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 6/10 Aug 22, 2023 Full Review Dan DiNicola The Daily Gazette (Schenectady, NY) Swimming in bloody violence, Street Kings has plenty of holes, and it is way over the top. But you also have the sense that the filmmakers are not trying to exaggerate. Feb 5, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Mate P Street Kings a predictable and sometimes boring action movie with a great cast of actors. The characters are mostly stereotypical, Tom Ludlow is a good protagonist, but doesn't offer anything new or exciting. The dialogues are not bad, but there's nothing that stands out. The plot is predictable, but still enjoyable. A few characters' intentions were not clear by the end, that was confusing. The cinematography was terrible. The slow motions were boring and some of the shots were really weird. The fight scenes were also badly-shot and edited, because I couldn't see anything. The pacing was okay, I wasn't bored because of it. The lack of excitement comes from the predictable story and the stereotypical characters. Street Kings is not a movie I'll rewatch, but it was exactly the kind of goofy action movie I wanted to see. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/29/24 Full Review Dave H Brilliantly cast and superbly acted. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/27/24 Full Review Regal R 79/100 - entertaining, a story about police corruption, pretty standard. nothing crazy stands out in this movie good or bad but its worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Narciso R Awesome movie, loved everything about it. NRJ. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Dinos K the wasn't great movie, some of the performances were not good but it was an ok movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Craig H Keanu's best every acting performance in my opinion and what's not to like about corruption and dirty cops. Decent little film Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews
