Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Deadly secrets are spilled with the lackadaisical plop of a daytime soap. Rated: 1/5 May 13, 2024 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) Like The Room in the sun, the bar it sets for itself is so outrageously low (just get to the end credits!) that it effortlessly clears it and, along the way, provides some bizarrely compelling, laugh-out-loud, guilty pleasure antics. Rated: 2/5 May 9, 2024 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Once you get to the big reveal, you feel like you’ve sat through a hundred episodes of a saucy daytime soap with the saucy bits cut out. Rated: 1/5 May 9, 2024 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall This is high calibre cheese, a riotous collision of camp cliches so ridiculous that it may earn cult classic status. Rated: 2.5/5 May 21, 2024 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Strictly Confidential looks like a parody of a bad movie, but it’s unfortunately no joke. This horrendous drama, which has a tawdry plot about privileged people with sordid secrets, is a time-wasting failure for everyone involved. Apr 30, 2024 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Potential Oedipal issues aside, Damian Hurley's debut feature is a dismal, suspense-free thriller, full of vapid characters spouting inane dialogue. Elizabeth G This is shockingly bad. Elizabeth Hurley has always been a very bad actress and plays the same role in everything and here is no different. Terrible script, terrible narrative. - had to switch off about an hour as could stand no more. Damian Hurley is no director and who the heck coughed up the money to finance this nonsense? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/24 Full Review Duncan R Good god. Hurley can’t act… her son can’t direct. What a talentless duo. I can’t tell you how bad this film is. There are no words. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Andre A I liked it, didn't knew what to expect when It started and the fact that even you can relate with the characters grief without really know who to trust keep you entertained until the end. In this type of movies is expected to get a crazy Hollywood or out of the blue twists for entertainment, but I think it manages to portrait the grief and guilt (mostly of the main characters) that can overcome people in real life when people face this kind of events and lost. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Mark P Possibly the worst movie I can remember seeing. The extremely bad acting is only surpassed by a much worse script. It is farcical in certain scenes and just utter nonsense during the rest. I honestly thought that Liz Hurley had some acting talent, but she proved me incorrect beyond any reasonable doubt. However her son Damian, has written a script that most 12 year olds who received more than 7 out of 10 for previous writing assignments, would be ashamed to hand in. Avoid at all costs.
