Audience Member "No. Hop off." A group of friends, all veterans of the Second Indochina War, band together using their military training to fight a violent biker gang/cult which has invaded their town in backwoods Ohio. Good dialogue, and with so much talking it is a little slow for the first half, but midway the film changes tone and becomes over-the-top violent. In this action/horror, I see a lot of similarities with "Mandy", which I also highly recommend. Sam Rami ("Darkman", "Drag Me to Hell") and Bruce Campbell ("Waxwork II", "Bubba Ho-tep", "Maniac Cop") appear in this, so you can be sure there is an added bit of quirky comedy. Jack Stryker gets out of vietnam after taking 2 in the leg and hooks up with his old flame but there is a Manson type clan in town killing folks and they take his woman hostage. Enter some old war buddies come to visit and they go on the hunt for the bad guys. slow start, surprisingly good acting and some good kills. Sam Raimi puts in a OTT performance as the Manson type leader. good entertainment.
