louise b Really enjoyed Studs the film has a good mixture of comedy and drama watching the characters establish themselves in the background showed a commitment to the story. I would recommend this film to anyone an excellent home grown film with home grown talent shinning. You don't need to like football to enjoy this film 😀 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/24 Full Review Jim P First off, shame on you Rotten Tomatoes for not understanding FOOTBALL (Soccer to you Americans...). Brendan Gleeson is the MANAGER not the captain (!) Now we've cleared that up, I can tell you that this film is tongue-in-cheek... a bit of fun! It's not a serious movie, but it's worth a look. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review Audience Member A total waste of time and a smear on the career of Brendan Gleeson and Irish cinema in general, Studs is completely lacking in originality, plot, performances or direction. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Great fun. A good Irish film about a team of losers that nearly win. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly good for a small budget film. A feel good movie with a strong cast. Many surprises throughout, with a twist at the end.
