Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) This material? Not very strong. These actors? Doing what they can with it and actually getting it to a pretty creepy place. Nov 29, 2023 Full Review Kimber Myers Crooked Marquee Lynch never nears the gleefully demented levels of gore and black humor that were Gordon’s hallmarks, but Suitable Flesh is still a fun if relatively mild homage. Rated: B- Oct 30, 2023 Full Review Adam White Independent (UK) There are flashes of HP Lovecraft, but the film is otherwise steeped in tributes to Stuart Gordon, the late king of scuzzy, made-for-VHS horror... Here, that manifests in a splurge of self-parodic fun. Rated: 4/5 Oct 30, 2023 Full Review Rocco T. Thompson Daily Dead Suitable Flesh is less suitable than it is superlative: a playful, gleefully horny Lovecraftian thriller Rated: 4/5 Jul 2, 2024 Full Review Kevin Wight The Wee Review It's difficult not to grin as a possessed Heather Graham grinds away on top of her dumbly delighted husband to the strains of some vintage softcore sax Rated: 4 Feb 28, 2024 Full Review Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast Joe Lynch's foray into the world of Lovecraft is a horny, sexy, gory surprise that's anchored by a shockingly fun turn from Heather Graham. More roles like this for her, please! Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 27, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Alexandra B Campy, horny horror as god intended Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review David R Plays like a made for tv movie. Really pathetic attempt of making a movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Logan D A psychatrist (Graham) becomes overly interested in a patient. Occult antics ensue. I really wanted to love this film. Lynch directed the hilarious and thrilling Mayhem, featuring a frenetic pace of a story. However, this film drags to the end. An omage to 80s and 90s horror, particularly Stuart Gordon, it lacks the charm of those films and the sets are too clean to provoke a sense of dread. Graham and the eternally young Crampton are a joy to view. That said. Oddly, I want to give it another viewing. There are some films I didn't enjoy the first time around but happily gave a second chance. Two notes I took: a stab to the back of someone's head wasn't believable I did love the car backing up scene. Trivia: Based on the Lovecraft short story, "The Thing on the Doorstep." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review Jesse L Really tried to give this a lot of rope for mutple reasons. On more than one occasion it fel like soft core $orn. The acting, music, writing, dialage all felt alsomt intentionally cheesy but not in a good way. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review Susan I Story wise was good... at the beginning. However I don't like how the authors/writers/directors contradict their own story and change its own rules of the curse to try and have a mediocre ending. I would've have a better ending Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Aldis H Just barely alright, but the end is so tiresome. Think of something new please.
