Suitable Flesh gets repetitive fast. It lacks an emotional core. By the third act, rather than wondering how things would get resolved, I simply found myself eager for an end to the villain's uninspired rants.

The acting is awful. The plot is ridiculous. The soundtrack sounds like something out of goosebumps. How in God’s name this movie got over 80% here on RT is beyond me. It’s like a b list romantic horror written for 50+ year old divorcees. The one thing this move does have going for it is that it’s hilarious—even if only because of how bad the writing is.

While the film is about 20 minutes too long, and there's an over-reliance on sex appeal, Suitable Flesh has some truly unique and awesome ideas/performances that make this much more than just another possession film.

Blew my mind throughout the whole movie about how the characters were made out to be so naiive and dim witted. Ruined the whole movie for me. I'm not one to stop a movie midway but I was so close in doing so. Not the worst ending, however, but wouldn't watch again or recommend to anyone.

A psychiatrist becomes obsessed with a young man suffering from a serious personality disorder. The mysterious new patient claims an older man is attempting to steal his body. The woman is dragged into a magic ritual that allows a sinister entity to take possession of her body, launching chaos in her life. "Suitable Flesh" is an old-fashioned horror comedy movie with an 80's vibe. The viewer is invited to witness the mental breakdown of the protagonist while we see a supernatural evil take control of her life beyond any limits.
