Story wise was good... at the beginning. However I don't like how the authors/writers/directors contradict their own story and change its own rules of the curse to try and have a mediocre ending. I would've have a better ending

Wonderful take on a Lovecraft story, Heather Graham, Barbara Crampton and Judah Lewis did such a phenomenal job on screen, well acted and directed all around and would recommend it to anyone who likes movies like From Beyond (1986). This movie is freaky, gory, sexy, and fun. It feels like Joe Lynch tried to make something special and it definitely succeeded in my mind.

Honestly feels like most the actors phoned this one in. The constant piano music was just distracting and bad. Script was mediocre and after a hr I just couldn't anymore. I looked up the ending to save myself the time. It's meh. It's like the director just wanted to make a soft core pron staring Heather Graham. If you have nothing else to watch I recommend rewatching something you like.
