I will say that Sukhee is one film you can watch , when you forget how to treat home maker, to know their struggle . A heart touching and entertaining film.

It had the makings of being a fun movie - the focus should have been on the friend group rather than her loser husband and horrible kid (ps. Suukhi is not doing a great job parenting with such a spoiled kid). It would have also helped to see the gradual loss of herself vs. film makes it seems like she became a doormat overnight. Which does not seem likely for the spitfire she was portrayed as in college. But if it had just been more about a girls trip - that would have been a more interesting movie.

A heart touching very honest down to earth movie to help speak for those homemakers, who out of altruism struggle to do self care to the point that they forget it is required even. In order to keep a machine going, it needs to be oiled every once in a while. This movie is an oil for such within family 'nation builder' individuals. Even to appreciate this movie, one needs values and upbringing, common in traditional India. Seeing the battering to the ratings this movie was getting on rotten tomatoes got me to join the website, in order to speak some truth.
