Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy "Summer Days with Coo" is a very competently made animation, with the depiction of Koichi's family being the true highlight here (obviously director Hara Keiichi's strongest talent). Jan 15, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This is an AMAZING film. This is worthy of the anime greats as far as I'm concerned. The characters and story are just so unbelievably detailed and well crafted, but just like his next film, the animation is terrible. It's a real shame, but I suppose the focus is where it should be. I cannot recommend this enough. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Great [anime] movie! Will definitely see this one again. Heartwarming, sad, funny, mysterious--it's got it all. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Crying so hard as i'm watching this i have a feeling this movie was made to show how bad mankind is - I feel bad for animals and i'm sorry to them for everything we do. I have no doubt the people that watch this will have softer hearts Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice animation movie about the friendship of a kid and a mithological being from Japanese culture. Deep, with some insight about the meaning of life and loneliness. Still, it keeps just being a remasterization of another movies like E.T. or "Mac and Me" with quite a lot of stereotypes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member the best anime movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member adorable, touching, and a little bit like wall-e in that it makes you think twice about how humans treat the planet and its many creatures.
