Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/28/22 Full Review Rose C The undertones of class struggle were really strong. The first thing you see is that, and it really shows the character growth of Barry and his disco worms. The voice of Jane Lynch was truly transcendent and her character development was amazing. Donna, the main bitch, was hilarious, and her jokes were straight fire. And her various accents The guitarist, gay. It transcends boundaries. Gay for the village people and he admits it on screen. Iconic Barry's mom: SHE IS WAY TOO HORNY. Why is she so horny? Through her dynamic, with her husband, we know that she pegs him which you can tell through careful observation of their dynamic Opening scene: Shennagians and hijinks. Set up who everyone is, horribly. The scene after that, job interview and dance??? What is happening in that? Barry sits on a bomb after his friend tells him not to sit on the bomb. Let's talk about character design, 1) the worms are all weird flesh colors, maybe that's what Worms look like in Sweden, we'll never know. Everybody's hair is so bad and bc they are flesh-colored it looks like pubes. The boobs. why are they shaped like that? Why are they so pronounced on Donna and the mom? And then Jane Lynch barely has them? The afro.....what...... does the movie imply the worms are black? Who knows? And I'm scared to know Barry's dance in his room; His tail becomes possessed by the spirit of disco and he cannot help grooving; moving his body in such a way that his mom says "Don't look out of the window! I just cleaned it." What are the character's ages? Are they teenagers? Adults? The kiss between Barry and Tito "Ah, gee I wasn't expecting it to be so big." "Shove that crusty hook in me. I'm just a pathetic disco worm." "I really like disco. Especially the village people. Especially the cute one in the leather trousers." Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Depending on your sense of humor, this film can be either hilarious or just plain bad. Personally, I found the ridiculous concept and over-the-top gags to be highly entertaining. Because this film was not made originally in English, the words aren't always in sync with the mouths, but other than that, this is a great, colorful and humorous short film that at least your kids will enjoy, if not you.
