Cask and Crow P Another great adaptation of the comic storyline. It's pretty faithful to the books and it was great to see some obscure characters. The final with Batman is a great moment Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review matthias s "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" is an animated superhero film that delivers a thrilling adventure with some impressive action and animated sequences, but falls short in terms of character development. Second, the plot is intriguing, and the addition of Supergirl as a central character adds depth to the storyline. Her introduction creates some interesting dynamics between the characters and adds some emotional weight to the story. "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" is an enjoyable superhero movie that will satisfy fans of the genre, with its impressive animation and action scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review Scott W Cringey gurl-boss movie aimed at the under 15 audience. Since when does superman get a bloody nose from getting punched? Darkseid basically beats both Superman and Supergirl at the same time? Love Big Barda... her bit was too brief and waaay too generic. I watched the whole thing, waiting for the climax. Still waiting. Dull soup. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Stephen C The greatest 01 hour: and 19 minutes (1 19/60 hours)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/26/22 Full Review Audience Member An even better sequel to Public Enemies, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse is a more compelling film than its straighforward predecessor thanks to better animation (this is where the meme comes from of Superman's face being given a more detailed look in a close up for whatever reason), more thrilling action sequences and a better story, in this case a coming-of-age narrative for Supergirl. The one flaw I can think of is Andre Braugher feeling miscast as Darkseid. I could also complain about some ending fatigue when DC Thanos pays a visit to Smallville but I forgave it when I considered that Supergirl hadn't been given the chance to properly fight against a villain since her previous fight scenes, being an origin story, were in entirely different contexts. Overall, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse was great and I'm sad we didn't get, if not a third entry, then at least a Supergirl solo movie. P.S.: Kara Zor-El's first scene has her running around naked, confused and understandably afraid of her fish-out-of-water predicament. Andrea Romano, the writers and the animators knew exactly what they were doing when they cast River Tam herself in the role of Superman's cousin. Shame Summer Glau never did any voice work for other DC animated projects unlike her Firefly costars. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun if inconsistent film that manages to add anew character to the mix. The change in tone and elongated action sequences were a bit much at times, but it was still a good time Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review There’s hardly any dimensionality to these characters; the title characters in particular. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 3, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files The weakest of the good DC Comics Universe direct to video movies. Rated: 6/10 Sep 4, 2013 Full Review Jeffrey M.
