Rosie C I could not even "survive the movie"… Horrible script, useless dialogue, pathetic direction (why did they kill the pregnant lady at the convenient store? why would they go to a store where they might be recognized? How many times did the wife and daughter untie their own hands/feet and do NOTHING? How and why did the grandmother die? Why couldn't he get lose from being handcuffed to a TABLE? Why couldn't the Dr nor the sheriff ever even land a punch or stab? Why would the doctor allow his wife and child to go outside when the brother was out there?? Why was the one brother so dumb? Why did the hurt brother even talk about his old house and caring for his dad?) I just couldn't - Bruce Willis was not able to carry this movie. Not even for ten minutes. Horrible acting - horrible plot and I'm just annoyed that I even tried to watch it. Worst movie EVER Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/24 Full Review Allison B This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. An hour and a half I'll never get back. The acting is terrible! I certainly would not recommend it to anyone. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review Going D Worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. There is just no excuse for the stupidity that went into producing this trash heap. Cuffed to a table leg but has to shoot the chain to get out.. Revolvers with infinite bulleta.. 1980s horror movie character decisions, like going back into the house instead of walking next door to call the police.. It's full of long, slow and drawn out dialogue which takes place in the most tense moments. Scenes where time is of the absolute essence, yet characters stop to talk about the past or their feelings. Ridiculous. The doctor performing surgery on himself while there's still a deranged looking to kill him and his family.. What the hell? Absolutely atrocious, an abomination that shouldn't exist.. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/23 Full Review Ali P The worst acting I've ever seen in my life. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/20/23 Full Review Ken C Poor Bruce Willis had to play with terrible actors and a horrible script. He is too dignified to have dinner that movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Christina M I wanted to love this because I love Bruce Willis. While the plot was good in theory, the execution was riddled bloopers. There were multiple opportunities for escape. Mom untied herself and slapped the murderer, but when he came back to get her she was miraculously tied up again. Dad is handcuffed to a table leg that a toddler could break, not to mention all the guy had to do was lift the table up and the hand cuff would slide off. Super love how the doc cut his t shirt off to sew himself up and ended up somehow in a pressed dress shirt. Come on Bruce. Your career isn't over but this movie might kill it! It's certainly killing me. Are you sure this wasn't supposed to be a comedy? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nick Allen RogerEbert.com Watching Willis in Survive the Night, you'd think he was already dead. Rated: 1.5/4 May 22, 2020 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter A particularly forgettable example of a tired sub-genre that, like so many of Willis' recent efforts, squanders his still estimable movie-star charisma. May 21, 2020 Full Review Ben Kenigsberg New York Times A flabby hunk of meat that the director, Matt Eskandari, hasn't bothered to season. May 21, 2020 Full Review Paul Lê Nightmare on Film Street As far as disposable thrillers go, this one sits somewhere in the middle of the room. It's a capable distraction. Rated: 6/10 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut A thriller that’s so unsure that the majority of the film is spent in daylight. Rated: 0.5/5 Sep 1, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse It's like a thriller made by people who have never actually seen a thriller and who based this one on stuff their friends told them about Panic Room and Funny Games.
