Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Nemrow is easily the highlight. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 24, 2020 Full Review Mark Goodyear Battle Royale With Cheese Surviving Confession manages to say nothing about surviving or confession in any sense. Throwing the major twists all into the final sequence was a disastrous decision and resulted in throwing any overarching message out the window. Aug 3, 2019 Full Review Don Shanahan Every Movie Has a Lesson A trying yet damn interesting jaunt through prickly pressures and uncomfortable themes. Rated: 3/5 Jul 31, 2019 Full Review Andrew Stover Film Inquiry Surviving Confession is very much a lively indie taking place in a lifelessly cramped setting, while bluntly speaking some commendable verities of being human. Daniel G A theater piece in a movie setting. Realistic dialogue and valid reflections on Catholicism. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Audience Member "Swift are the traps for the unwary, fleet are the sins of men, and women, but salty are the sins of the father." It takes a rare multilayered, multilateral discipline to shepard a tapestry of tones. Hark! For there is a laughing in that comedy that lies in the of crying drama, and alas there is weeping in the drama that runs for the executive hills of comedy. To weave the two, that is so they do not wrestle, so they do not compete, so they do not upstage each other is by no means an easy meet . No, it is a forensic of engineering, where just like the comedian, the actor must hide this toil, hide this under smiles and and the quivers of dance. The makers of this film are no pedestrians, nor are they stealers of someone else's shield and spear in the face of ills and evils; no these filmmakers be mightier minstrels of the theological conundrum, the veiled pathos to exploding bathos. Seek this work - all eyes welcome. Movie Syndrome Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing script, acting and film as a whole. It's hilarious as well as emotional with really interesting bits about confession that I didn't know! Definitely worth a watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member My kind of film. Smart enjoyable and witty dialogue. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/10/19 Full Review Audience Member Really worth a watch. I especially found the writing and direction compelling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting take on the familiar territory of religion and humanity with great performances that make this indie movie really pop.
