Sylvio is what happens when a director decides to simply shoot a film from the heart without thinking much of the consequences. A fresh, non pretentious, heartwarming piece of comedy that isnt afraid of being unconventional. Loved every minute of it.

i mean... as far as artsy, make-a-statement films go, it's good. but as far as an entertaining movie, it's not. i'm not going to watch it again & i don't think i'd recommend it to anyone else either.

After loving "Frank" so much, I am doomed to watch every movie with people under a simple mask. I loved "Brigsby Bear" too, but no luck with this indi and lo-fi comedy-drama. It last only one hour and twenty minutes and it felt endless. There is no much story there and there is no real laugh. I have to admit that the ending is cute (not amazingly good, just cute) but wasn't enough to save the movie.
