Elissa Suh Screen Slate What launched as a largely flavorless rags-to-riches profile wrenches into a proudly florid and caustic critique—classic Suzuki. Audience Member Criminally underappreciated. This film should be praised as one of the 'gonzo-masterpieces' as well as his major works like Branded to Kill and Zigeunerweisen. The first half might bore some audiences, but the whole second half (especially the last 40 mins) was so unconventional, powerful and trippy as hell. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member An eccentric satire about Japanese media, depressing suburban lifestyles ans housewives, etc. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member (**): Thumbs Down There are some decent elements in here (acting and directing) but it ends up being just too confusing and incomprehensible.
