Brooke Knisley Paste Magazine Look at You contains Obama-level pauses -- pauses so pregnant you wonder if they’re going to come to term. And when they do, the punchlines tend to hit home. Tomlinson’s always been solid on craft, and this special really shows it. Rated: 7.5/10 Mar 22, 2022 Full Review Q.V. Hough Vague Visages Tomlinson doesn't hit the trendy talking points of so many comedians her age. Instead, she peels a rotten orange in 'Look at You' and asks the audience what they see. The damage is evident, and yet there's still beauty in the bright color that remains. Mar 8, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

kodak j Taylor Tomlinson is just incredible. We have watched this and watched it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Toms c Physically funny, there's a huge power to Taylor on stage. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Bobby D I don't know much about the subject of therapy, but I know plenty of people that have or are receiving therapy, so to have such an incredibly funny delivery of the subject, that is deeply personal, is a testament to how well a decent comedian can turn any even the darkest of subjects into humour. I found her brilliant and the arrangement of her content, very intelligent and well thought through. I found this program to be a proper giggle while at the same time being rather eye-opening. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review SLR Hilarious. I'm blown away by her comedic skill and ability to self-reflect at such a young age. She has a tremendous career ahead of her. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/05/23 Full Review Paul L I was not familiar with Taylor before this special but she has got to be one of the top new comics around. She goes seamlessly through so many topics, some taboo in today's culture, and just brings the laughs. If you are looking for some feel good laughs, I could not recommend this special more. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/23 Full Review Zach V Tomlinson is smart and funny, there's no question. She is expressive and very fun to listen to. The problem is that she projects a stage persona which is hard to root for, sympathize with, or even like. It's kind of the point, but I think it goes too far compared to her approach to portraying herself in her first special. Her observational commentary pertains (at times) to subjects which she doesn't know enough about for the content of the bit to be satisfying or leave a lasting impression. She has a future in this industry and it's exciting to watch her display so much skill at a young age, but I wish she provided something of more inherent intellectual value in this one. For a title of ‘Look At You', all of the commentary here is unrelatable self-pity humor, which can be hilariously effective at times, but is depleting and draining at others. If you liked this, go watch her first special, Quarter Life Crisis, which still lacks the artistic ingenuity of more seasoned professionals, but makes for a more satisfying romp starring a more likable personality.
