Not so much a rebel as kind of stuck up to mask insecurity; or as I call it, being a teenager. It has, for its time, a solid mom/daughter relationship. Overly melodramatic, though. Ginger Rogers and Michael Rennie give awesome performances. The script is good but could have been better. Edmund Goulding did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the drama. Teenage Rebel is a must see.
