Spawned from a lab experiment gone awry, teenage terrapins Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael live in the sewers beneath New York. Indeed, motion capture and a push toward photo-real animation result in rather gross heroes (with nostrils), particularly in the case of Splinter, whose slimy quality incites some latent Bubonic anxiety.

it’s a micheal bay movie and you can tell because shredder looks like a aoe or tlk transformer. the movie itself is alright, i think the action is done well and the cgi for the turtles is great. the story is kinda boring and the movie feels like filler for a while but it’s definitely entertaining. the turtle designs are alright, i don’t hate them as much as other people. i think overall it’s a fun movie but not the best

Great movie! Full of action and amazing fight scenes way ahead of its time. The graffiti art of the Turtles and Splinter is top-tier. I honestly don’t understand all the hate just because the story changed a little from the original doesn’t make it bad. Easily one of the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remakes! 🐢🔥

teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was such a good movie it's stick to the story and I love that name made it to wear like April O'Neill is really the owner of the turtles and it was really cool to see how Paramount just delivered a really good movie that just has good storytelling character development and just did not miss the mark of the show but I really wish they would have followed like the show to wear the daughter of splinter found out her real father

I first watched this movie I don't know if it was the sequel or the original but Michael Bay and Paramount prioritize creating a new big budget movie franchise then telling an actually compelling plot also the turtle designs are scary and just plain ugly, the only saving grace of this film is the motion capture is impressive, but if you want to show your kids a ninja turtles movie I HIGHLY recommend showing them the 1990 version were the turtle suits look more realistic then all the doo doo CGI
