David F This is a short documentary about Grauman's Egyptian Theatre, site of the first big premiere of a film and a historic Hollywood movie theatre that has recently been restored to its former glory. Filmmakers offer quotes extolling the movie-going experience (they also interviewed a ticket taker who worked at the theatre-he has some interesting stuff to say!) while we get a quick tour of the theatre and see some historic photos and film of the role it has played in the promotion and distribution of film. It's also padded out with a lot of great old movie scenes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
